One of the things that I’m most excited about in this new year is: my FASHION DESIGN class!!
Yes, I’ve enrolled myself in Susan Budihardjo’s fashion design programme late last year. The class just began yesterday, so today is the 2nd day of the class. I’ve started to really like my new classmates, they are a bunch of lovelies! Top model Arzeti B is one them. She’s a wonderful person, I’m happy to get to know her 
Remember when I told you that I’ve always wanted to be a designer? That is one thing that I believe I have to do in this lifetime. I’m hoping to get into the retail industry a couple of years from now. I do think I have the gift of understanding how to dress different people. I have gazillions of ideas buzzing in my head, and now I’m learning the skills to transform my ideas & imagination into pieces of clothing that are seriously going to make every woman realise the beauty & femininity that they have within. For me, the truest joy of life is when you can bring happiness into other people’s lives. I seek to achieve this through fashion (that I firmly believe is a RIGHT, not a PRIVILEGE).
I know that it’s quite a long way to go, and I do realise that it’s not going to be as easy as typing it in words. It will require a lot of determination, hardwork, & persistence. On the short term, I’ll have to manage my time well between my work & this rather heavily packed programme’s schedule. I’ll also have to drive hours and hours through the dreadful rush-hour traffic of Jakarta. But I know that I HAVE TO do this. If I don’t do it now, I will regret it later in my life for sure. So now I open my eyes and my mind to learn & absorb as much as I can in this next 12 months. *POOF* I’m a SPONGE now!
