It’s only 6 more days to Christmas! How exciting! I’m sure you all are already in your Christmas mood right now. Things are starting to slow down a bit as we reach the end of the year, accompanied by the constant cloudy sky & occasional rain (let’s pretend that it’s snow)— all that really completes the whole Christmas atmosphere. I’ve set up my Christmas tree very early in November this year, and I haven’t stopped listening to Christmas songs ever since!
Although we’ve always been buddhists, we grew up with Christmas being a part of the tradition in our family. Not even once have we ever skipped it. I remembered how my sister and I had soooo much fun decorating our tree differently every year; how when we were so little, we refused to go to bed at night for hope of witnessing Santa Claus & his rain deers; how we woke up in the morning to look for our presents in our garden (our folks made us believe Santa dropped them in our garden when we were sleeping); how I was both excited & nervous while ‘treasure-hunting’—a bit skeptical whether Santa believed that I had been good, hahaha 
Well this year, I know I’ve been good (*my nose is growing longer by the second now*), hahaha. Our Christmas tree theme is gold and red this time, with the overall design being simple & understated, yet very elegant
I figured if I hadn’t been good enough, I’d better make it up with a decent Christmas tree. Talking about non-blatant bribery taken to another level
