The beauty of having pet dogs is that no matter how much we love and adore them, they are sure to love and adore us even more.

by the way, do you know that there's special shampoo to wash off the tear stains from spike's fur?

This article rings true in every aspect. Through the years I've also learnt that what or whom we truly love may not always be the best there is. I guess it's only natural to be honest - we love something or someone regardless of their flaws.

We might've unconsciously set standards of what is good and acceptable and of value. Yet beyond our obsolete conceptions, each moment that we've been through together with them, mournfully or gleefully, serves as building blocks for a sturdy sort of love. Otherwise, I believe it's merely a selfish manifest of ego that imitates "love".

It's the bond that grows within that's called love. The one spark that makes us grow attached to each other.

By the way, Spike looks quite different from years ago when I last saw her. Even so, she's just as dear =) Please say hi to her for me.
