I know I promised to share some of my pics from my latest trip to Ujung Kulon. But FIRST THING FIRST, okay?
I have more important news to announce: A dear friend of mine, Stanley Allan Limanseto, contributed 7 great pictures to this month’s edition of Bazaar Magazine!!! And I’m ecstatic!!! (You’ll see why in a bit)
These pictures are published in this October’s Bazaar. He took them in Milan, along with Dien Tirto Buwono as the stylist (who’s also our dear friend) who’s currently a fashion editor in Bazaar (kudos for you too, Dien!). It’s such a joy to be posting his works here, since he is someone I’ve always had so much faith in. (Please note that the actual quality & colour are so much better than these, I had to convert them to web&device version). So ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, here are the pictures:

A bit about Stanley Allan: Stanley has been one of the most artistic and talented and creative people that I’ve known my whole life. I knew him first at kindergarten and we went to the same school all the way to high school. He’s been a graphic design genius all the way back even when computers were uncommon, and he’s been a greatttt photographer long before the birth of digital photography. To me, he’s one of the rare people who’s got THE SENSE and THE EYE for photography. Remember what I wrote about passionate people? Well, he’s one of them! He is so passionate about photography that he flew all the way to live and work in Manhattan, assisting a world renowned photographer (Hans Neleman). He’s now back to Indonesia, and I’m telling yah…it’s a GREAT news for the rest of us here: for that means we get to see more of his works, or better yet, you can contact him to get your pics taken!
Now there’s more: he also has more pictures taken in LAKE COMO, Italy–to be published in next month’s (November) Bazaar Wedding Magazine. I heard they’re even a couple times more AWESOME than these ones. And that’s the only reason for us singles to buy Bazaar Wedding
I’m also putting up his website under the LINKS at the bottom right bar of this blog. It’s currently under construction, but do check often!
