Kita Cinta Cita Cinta

I just found these 2 pictures that we took 4 months ago of Ivonne & I.

The story behind it: When the April edition of Cita Cinta came out, both of us were in the States (for Ivonne’s performance in Carnegie Hall-New York). That month’s edition has a 2-page coverage about Ivonne, beautifully written by R.L + A.Y (the senior editor & junior editor) who have, today, become dear friends of ours.

On the way back to Indonesia, we stopped by Hong Kong for a couple days to meet our parent’s there to accompany them for their yearly health check-up. Our folks bought us a copy of Cita Cinta, and we started reading it as soon as we arrived in Hong Kong. We were walking around & crossing the already-crowded roads in early morning HK, while Ivonne walked mindlessly without looking at all, completely immersed in her CC magazine. How could she walk without looking around in HK? Two possibilities: either she had a perfect spatial awareness, or the writers of the article were bloody good—I believe the latter is true :D

And so we thought, as a mini token of our appreciation, we’d take turn to take pictures of each other, to show the writers how these 2 girls in HK could be sooooo into their magazine. We tried to pick an angle with a background that show-off Hong Kong. We were literally giggling non-stop when we took this pictures, as it felt funny when the people in the street and around us just kept turning their heads, wondering what these 2 crazy girls were up to. But hey, who cares?! Life is meant to be enjoyed!

So here are the 2 pictures we sent to R.L, I hope she has enjoyed them, as much as we did taking them :D

    ce, aku juga baca kok cita cinta pas edisi itu…waktu baca itu kayae inget2 ada nama atmojo tapi agak ragu2 juga trus ta tanyain temenku ternyata itu ccne ce iv ya? keren ce tulisane..
