Lizard on my plate

Two days ago, when we were still in West Java for our outdoor adventure, I got a very pleasant morning surprise. 

It was about 8 o’clock in the morning, and we all were on the veranda of our resort, enjoying our breakfast. I suddenly remembered that I forgot to pack my mosquito-repellent lotion in my backpack (which is one thing I cannot live without, having always been a mosquito’s all-time favourite that I am). So I left my plate outside and quickly ran in.

Guess what I found when I went back? A LIZARD!!! And I was like: “My GAWD!!!! I gotta get my camera!!”.

So here are some of the pics that I love so much. You can see how she looks really cute upclose, with her multi-colour skin complexion under the sun. Beautiful!!

That was my first time really seeing a lizard that close. So it definitely made my day. I was lucky that it was at least a ‘pleasant’ surprise.

Lesson Learned: Never leave your plate unattended, you’ll never know what you’ll get :P
